Microblading

Microblading is a semi permanent tattoo and is performed using a hand tool. It lasts 18 to 30 months and gives a very natural hairstroke look.

Hairstroke brow tattoo is done with the tattoo machine and is considered a permanent tattoo although it does require maintenance touchups throughout the years to keep it fresh looking. It gives the appearance of natural hair strokes so it also is a good natural look with just slightly thicker strokes than the microblading.

How long does microblading last?

18 to 30 months.

While microblading can be performed on almost any kind of skin, your skin type simply affects how long results last. On oily skin, it might be “less effective in holding pigment than dry skin and results could be less crisp/precise due to the oils saturating the pigment during the healing stage. Clients with oily skin might need more frequent touch-ups (about every six months) for maintenance. Other factors that affect results include lifestyle, like how much time is spent under the sun, color of pigment, and medical conditions.

It is important not to miss the 6 to 8 week perfecting appointment.  The touch up is necessary for the Microblading Process. If you do not return for it your brows will not last as long nor look complete.

Choosing brows specific for your face and style...

A typical microblading session lasts around two hours. This allows the artist to numb properly and create an outline of your chosen brow shape. We will go over length, brow arch, and the approximate thickness. The client has the opportunity here to make any changes and discuss what they like and dislike prior to the procedure which is extremely helpful to the technician as well as gives you more confidence in moving forward.

Microblading isn’t painless, but it shouldn’t hurt.

With proper numbing being a priority, the best description of the feeling is being a bit uncomfortable, if anything. Most clients descrube it as the feeling of a tiny scratch, with a continuing tingling sensation throughout the day after (since the numbing cream wears off). Most clients are quite surprised at how little they feel compared to their expectations.
